City colours: pink and yellow

Every city has a colour if you look closely. Pink stone balconies, shuttered windows, white mulberries in summer, piles of flowered quilts.

And yellow: an old car at the edge of a hill, a hand-painted wall motif, a marble floor of interlocking stars, the ablaq facade of the Azm Palace.
